My princess was born 8 and a half years ago with hypoplastic left ventricle. She already had four older brothers and one older sister, but my husband’s and my family didn’t support us in our fight. We found ourselves alone.
Aina is now 8 and a half years old. Despite liver problems probably linked to her last operation, i.e. a Fontan operation or a DCPT, she’s living life to the full, and we’re living one day at a time. It’s a tough fight, but well worth it.
