Individual Support and Guidance Meetings for Parents of Children with Heart Diseases.

If you are currently facing uncertainty and worry as parents of a child suffering from heart problems, experiencing a sense of isolation and discouragement, not knowing where to turn, we are delighted to introduce our new service at the Fondation En Cœur.

The highlights of this service include:

  • Personalized Individual Meeting: A one-hour session specifically designed for parents or caregivers of children with heart diseases. The goal is to understand your specific needs and guide you to the most appropriate resources.

  • Email Follow-Up: Follow-up provided via email, including references to resources tailored to your specific needs.

  • Confidentiality Assured: All information exchanged during individual meetings will be treated confidentially. Furthermore, your data will be completely destroyed after each session, ensuring the preservation of your privacy.

Our service aims to offer you quality individual support, to guide you to appropriate resources, and to provide you with the necessary accompaniment. We are convinced that no one should go through such a trial alone, and we are here to provide you with the necessary support.

Please note that this service is offered in French and English.

IMPORTANT: This is a one-time meeting, and this service is provided by Fondation En Coeur free of charge.

The service is provided by Anouk Brière-Godbout, a psychosocial worker.

Anouk holds a master’s degree in social work on the transition to parenthood and parental support, primarily for children with special needs, for over 15 years. She also works as a patient rights advocate consultant and has three special needs children aged 5 to 16.
