During my pregnancy, we received the diagnosis of Tetralogy of Fallot for our Romane. She was supposed to undergo surgery at birth, but she was too small, so the operation took place when she was 6 months old. Just two hours after leaving the operating room, she had to be rushed back in for emergency surgery with cardiac massage.

Our little one is a TRUE fighter: she then remained asleep for 7 days and was hospitalized for 25 days. The Foundation supported us from the moment she was born, in the neonatal unit and especially throughout her hospital stay for the surgery. I never could have imagined that such a tiny being could be so strong.
