During my very first ultrasound at Sainte-Justine, it was discovered that Xavier had a congenital heart defect, specifically Tetralogy of Fallot. At 10 months old, Xavier underwent surgery. After that, he was a baby full of energy 
His next surgery will involve receiving a mechanical pulmonary valve.
Thanks to the En Cœur Foundation, we were able to receive support during his hospitalization, which allowed us, as parents, to catch our breath a little despite the circumstances.
Today, Xavier is almost 4 years old, and I can assure you that he is a little boy with A LOT of energy
