Lou’s most recent palliative surgery took place in March 2025. We were already familiar with the Foundation’s services, as Lou had spent nearly seven months at Sainte-Justine Hospital since birth to treat his single-ventricle heart condition.
Even though we knew the environment, nothing truly prepares a family for such trials. The En Cœur Foundation supported us once again when complications from surgery kept our little warrior in the hospital longer than expected.
Their help eased not only our financial burdens but also our emotional stress. The Foundation ensures families have peace of mind while preparing for difficult days by their children’s side.
