Meet Élyam! A little heart warrior who underwent two open-heart operations in just 24 hours last December. Today, 7 months later, our little darling is doing wonderfully well. The En Cœur Foundation was there for us throughout Élyam’s hospitalization, whether it was during his stay in intensive care, which lasted a long time, or afterwards in pediatric cardiology. There was not a day that went by that we did not benefit from the support, both psychological and financially. We received vouchers for meals in the cafeteria, as well as for gas during the many trips we had to make daily between the Beauce region and the CHUL. You really do make a difference in the difficult and anxious times that parents of children with heart disease must go through. A thousand thanks to the En Coeur Foundation for taking the weight off our shoulders during this ordeal, we will be eternally grateful.
