I would like to introduce you to my son Thomas, born on May 15th, 2003. This big day was full of emotions. Our Thomas was born with the Tetralogy of Fallot. This little fighter received his first operation at 4 days of age (pulmonary arterial shunt), another at 11 months (homograft) and another at 9 years of age. Thomas is now 20 and will have another operation soon.
I would like to thank all the staff at the hospital and the En Cœur Foundation, who have been exceptionally supportive over the years. We have received all kinds of support since day 1 of his birth.
I would like to tell all new parents who are going through the same thing to trust the medical staff and use the services offered by the Foundation, because we are so well surrounded and supported. Thomas is living very well with his congenital condition thanks to all of you! Thank you all.
